An epoxy driveway coating is a bonded system — primer, a broadcast layer of coloured flake, a high-build solid colour or a decorative grind and seal, then a UV-stable polyaspartic sealer over the top. It goes on into the concrete, not over it, which is why the prep matters more than the product.

Roll-on driveway paint sits on the surface, which is why it tends to peel under hot tyres. Tom diamond-grinds the whole slab back to clean, open concrete first, then fills the cracks, pits and oil spots so the coating has something honest to key into.

The finish is seamless — no joins to catch grit, no grout lines, nothing for moss to get into. Hose it down and it comes up like new.

How a driveway gets done.

Quote on site
Tom comes out, measures the driveway and puts a quote together. No pressure.
Grind and repair
Diamond grinding back to sound concrete, then cracks, pits and oil spots get cut out and filled.
Prime and broadcast
Primer goes down, then the flake gets broadcast by hand until coverage is even edge to edge.
Scrape, seal, hand back
Scraped back, vacuumed and sealed with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat.
